As the sole content designer, I own all content throughout savings applications, including modals, inline and page level error messaging, confirmation screens and unhappy path end screens, and lead on content for the end-to-end product application journey.

As soon as I started onboarding, I conducted research by talking to all of my new colleagues, as well as stakeholders, and the outgoing content designer, to understand what was going well and where the areas of opportunity might be.

From this, I was able to draw up a list of 3 priorities:

  1. Audit all content in journeys
  2. Review and improve content documentation and handover
  3. Grow the profile of content design within the savings hub and beyond.
